Hair Mystic

April 30, 2009 By: admin Category: Artistic Expressions

The hair has always been surrounded by mystic and ancient traditions, such as the belief that longer hair equals more strength. Many cultures, including the Navajo, believe in the power of hair.  Traditional Navajo men and women wear their hair long.  It is said that a person with black or brown hair indicates that the possessor has great inner strength.  Therefore, it is bad fortune to treat hair carelessly and irresponsibly. Finding that special stylist and entrusting your personal mane to their care can be extremely difficult and stressful.  Fortunately, there is such a person, and she can be found with little difficulty.  Visit BrittanyRei.com

ctoc_bookset_1b_webHave you ever seen an object that instantly brought you peace and serenity?  There are few things in a city of concrete, glass and metal that brings to mind the colors of my homeland.  Fortunately, I have been blessed to know a person that understands the quietude that lives in the hills and canyons of the land where I was born and can bring it to existence with a few strokes of a brush.  I see the  places of my youth and the land of my people through his eyes and recognize them in the colors he uses to tell his stories. If you can’t go to one of his exhibitions, you can always get his book, Chaos on the Canvas. Visit ArtofHilario.com
